She has worked on digital strategy for many companies and organizations\, including the Greenville Utilities Commission\, Pitt Community College\, ENC Community Magazine\, ECU Health Foundation\, North Carolina Waterworks Association\, and Good Politics PR Agency. Kate also teaches “The Secrets of Digital Storytelling” course as a part of the PCC Continuing Education program staff. She is also The North Carolina School Public Relations Association (NCSPRA) Gold Award winner (2023 & 2024) in marketing\, image/graphic design\, publications\, photography\, and digital engagement categories.

DESCRIPTION:The Young Professionals of Pitt County (YP)\, in partnership with Fleet Feet Greenville NC\, is excited to host the 1st Annual Spooky Sprint for a Cause\, benefitting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain. This 5k Fun Run / 1 Mile Walk is an UNTIMED race and sure to be fun and memorable for all ages!\nHalloween costumes are encouraged by all! Runners will have the opportunity to enter in to the following costume contests: Most Original\, Best Pair/Group Costume\, Spookiest & Funniest. \nAfter the race\, stick around for breakfast with mimosas and costume contest winner announcements. Fleet Feet Greenville NC will be celebrating their 6th Anniversary that day\, and are excited to celebrate with you all! \nRegistration – Starting at 7:00am\nRace Starts – 8:00am \n—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————\nWHY SUPPORT THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF THE COASTAL PLAIN\nThe Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain (BGCCP) serves over 3\,000 youth (ages 6-18)\, annually\, at 17 locations throughout 7 counties. Their mission is to enable all young people\, especially those who need us most\, to reach their full potential as productive\, caring\, responsible citizens. Kids and teens who attend their after-school and summer programs have better attendance\, improved behavior\, higher grades and test scores – which is all made possible due to the incredible staff members and volunteers. These role models respect and listen to the youth and provide a safe environment where they can be themselves and have fun\, and constructive activities to channel their youthful energy.\nEach club member invests $50/year to partake in the program\, but the cost of serving each club member far exceeds that cost. Your donation helps to fill this gap and further fuels their mission.\nAfter hearing from their Chief Development Officer earlier this year\, the YP’s were moved by the impactful work that BGCCP does in our communities. We hope that you are just as moved to make a difference in the lives of these youth as they are our future! \nTHANK YOU!
