The event features a guest speaker who will delve into their career journey\, share professional insights\, and share their reasons for choosing Pitt County as their home! \n\nThis month’s guest speaker is Kate Ker. Kate is a digital communications/marketing specialist at Pitt County Schools\, creator of the People of Greenville project\, and freelance social media professional who helps local businesses create a digital strategy and increase brand visibility with a strong focus on storytelling. She has worked on digital strategy for many companies and organizations\, including the Greenville Utilities Commission\, Pitt Community College\, ENC Community Magazine\, ECU Health Foundation\, North Carolina Waterworks Association\, and Good Politics PR Agency. Kate also teaches “The Secrets of Digital Storytelling” course as a part of the PCC Continuing Education program staff. She is also The North Carolina School Public Relations Association (NCSPRA) Gold Award winner (2023 & 2024) in marketing\, image/graphic design\, publications\, photography\, and digital engagement categories.
