Wade Scales, CLU, Sound Partners

After graduating from Woodberry Forest in 2003 and UNC Chapel Hill in 2007, Wade spent a year in Charlotte, NC learning the fixed life, disability, and long term care brokerage business with a job as Junior Regional Director with Bysis Insurance.  He spent the following year abroad, where he learned The Gold Standard of customer service as an Adventure Coordinator with The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman.

After leaving Greenville for his freshman year at Woodberry at the ripe age of 14, Wade is excited to get back to the people and places he loves the most, in Eastern North Carolina.  Furthermore, he looks forward to expanding the Sound Partners’ product offerings with his licenses and interest in securities and his affiliation with AXA Advisors.  By implementing the type of customer service he became accustomed to with the Ritz, Wade hopes to build on his father’s work and grandfather’s legacy through hard work, honesty, client education, engagement and service to Greenville.

Wade has been married to his high school sweetheart, Bonnie, since 2010.  Outside of work, Wade enjoys spending time on the water with family and friends, fishing, Carolina basketball, ECU football, and grilling out for all of it.
